Five years. One vision.
What started as a simple idea, that meaningful business relationships deserve more than a rushed handshake between meetings, has become one of the most sought-after invitations of ADIPEC week.
Now entering its fifth edition, Sipping has grown from a modest gathering of 50 guests into a curated experience welcoming over 280 guests: decision-makers, diplomats and industry leaders. Each year the guest list reads like a who’s who of energy, engineering and finance.
This edition marks a first: ItaliaCamp EMEA joins Profile Middle East as co-organiser. Their network spans corporate clients and institutions alike, widening the reach of the evening and raising its standing.
In the intense, fast-paced environment of ADIPEC, meetings run back-to-back and interactions are often reduced to a rushed handshake. Sipping offers a moment of pause: an Italian-inspired networking aperitivo held in the evening, away from the noise of the exhibition halls.

Ahlan (Welcome)
The evening opens with ahlan, the Arabic welcome that tells a guest they are among family. No alcohol is served during this first part of the evening, so that every guest shares exactly the same welcome, in respect of the culture of the country that hosts us and of the guests who observe it.

An Italian aperitivo, properly served
The evening is built around Italian hospitality: spumante poured through the night, espresso pulled on La Cimbali machines, artisanal gelato by Gelateria La Romana and a live kitchen serving Italian classics under the Abu Dhabi sky.
Venue
Sipping 2026 returns to The Abu Dhabi EDITION, one of the capital’s most prestigious addresses, in the central Al Bateen district. Guests are welcomed at Alba Terrace, the hotel’s signature Mediterranean restaurant, and its poolside garden: warm ambient lighting, shimmering pool reflections and the night sky as a backdrop.
